Neil S. Henning's financial services background dates back to 1983, when he worked for Copeland Companies as a retirement specialist. After seven years there, he was ready for additional challenges and professional growth, which led him to join Cigna Financial Planning in Hackensack, New Jersey.

At Cigna, Neil was trained in comprehensive estate planning for clients with net worth in excess of $3 million. In 1991, he decided to open his own financial services practice and became an independent agent brokering his business through Lincoln Investment Planning.

In June 2002, after investigating many independent broker/dealers, and after considerable thought and deliberations, Neil decided it would be in the best interests of his clients and himself to broker his business through Commonwealth Financial Network®. He is very happy he made the change, as Commonwealth has proven that it is extremely professional and supportive of his vision for where he wants to take his financial services practice.
